Admissions requirements
To be considered for UW–Madison Online you must be a transfer or reentry student and have 12 transferable credit hours of college-level work.
A transfer student is anyone who has attended or is currently attending another college or university after graduating from high school and wishes to enroll in an undergraduate degree program at UW–Madison.
A reentry student is someone who previously attended UW–Madison as an undergraduate and would like to complete their first bachelor’s degree. Reentry students have not been enrolled in courses for a semester or more.
